Mere Husband Ki Biwi Box Office Day 6: Slight Growth on Maha Shivratri, But Struggles Against Chhaava
February 27, 2025: Mere Husband Ki Biwi Sees a Modest Boost on Maha Shivratri
Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, and Rakul Preet Singh’s Mere Husband Ki Biwi has entered its sixth day at the box office with a minor improvement in collections, aided by the Maha Shivratri holiday. However, the romantic comedy continues to face stiff competition from Chhaava, which is dominating ticket sales and audience attention.
Despite being a word-of-mouth-driven film, Mere Husband Ki Biwi exceeded opening-day expectations by collecting ₹1.75 crores. However, the numbers have steadily declined, with a small increase on Day 6 due to the holiday.

| Day | Collection (in crores) |
|---|---|
| Day 1 | ₹1.75 crore |
| Day 2 | ₹2.05 crore |
| Day 3 | ₹1.48 crore |
| Day 4 | ₹1.02 crore |
| Day 5 | ₹0.90 crore |
| Day 6 | ₹0.94-0.97 crore (estimated) |
| Total | ₹8.14-8.17 crore |
The film witnessed a slight increase in footfalls, but its growth remains limited due to Chhaava’s massive hold over the box office.
With a 7-day theatrical run nearing its end, Mere Husband Ki Biwi has performed below expectations. The romantic comedy could have registered better footfalls had Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava not dominated the box office with ₹350+ crores in earnings.

Going forward, sustaining its presence in theaters will be a challenge, unless it picks up over the weekend.
