What Went Wrong?
While Mere Husband Ki Biwi had the potential to be a commercial hit, the following factors seem to have worked against it:
1️⃣ Lack of Strong Promotions – The movie lacked aggressive marketing, failing to generate pre-release buzz.
2️⃣ Mixed Reviews – Audience reactions have been lukewarm, with many criticizing the lack of novelty in its story.
3️⃣ Competition from Other Films – With bigger releases dominating the screens, the film struggled to gain traction.
About Mere Husband Ki Biwi
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, the film is a light-hearted take on a love triangle where Ankur Chaddha (Arjun Kapoor) finds himself torn between his ex-wife (Bhumi Pednekar) and his new love interest (Rakul Preet Singh). What follows is a series of comical misunderstandings as his past and present collide.
The film also features Harsh Gujral, Dino Morea, Shakti Kapoor, and Mukesh Rishi in pivotal roles.
Final Verdict
Mere Husband Ki Biwi has had a disappointing box office run so far and needs a strong weekday hold to avoid being labeled a flop. With word-of-mouth being mixed at best, the film’s fate will depend on whether it can attract midweek audiences.
