Michelle Beadle’s Post-Firing Glow-Up: Croatia, Clapbacks, and a Travel Show Dream

July 22, 2025: Michelle Beadle may have been fired—but she’s not fading quietly. The 49-year-old sports broadcaster, fresh off an unceremonious exit from SiriusXM, just shared a sun-soaked glimpse of her Croatian vacation on social media, joking that a travel show might be her next move.

“My Croatia Dump is here,” she wrote on Instagram alongside a video montage of sightseeing, boat rides, and beach moments. “(We really should come up with better terminology.) Until next time… Or I get a damn travel show…”

Beadle and her radio partner Cody Decker were dropped by SiriusXM in June, with their show being replaced by longtime ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith. The move blindsided Beadle—who’s had a rocky history with Smith since their ESPN days.

“Welcome to the ‘Lame Duck and Who Knew?’ show,” she said sarcastically during one of their final broadcasts, while Decker shouted “fired” in the background. Beadle later told Front Office Sports she felt disrespected and embarrassed by the abrupt decision.

“I was totally blindsided. Just really embarrassed, to be honest,” she said. “A little respect would have been nice.”

Her tension with Smith dates back to 2014 when she publicly criticized him for comments he made about domestic violence in the wake of the Ray Rice incident. Smith was suspended by ESPN shortly after. The fallout lingered for years.

“I don’t respect him,” Beadle said bluntly. “I think he gets things wrong all the time… Not a fan.”

Despite the setback, Beadle is keeping busy. She currently co-hosts Run It Back on FanDuel TV with Chandler Parsons and Lou Williams, is part of the Over the Top podcast on Wondery, and makes appearances on San Antonio Spurs broadcasts.

And if her travel clips are any indication, she might just be manifesting a whole new chapter.
