• In an interview on the KADAK YouTube channel, Mika expressed regret over casting Bipasha Basu alongside her husband, Karan Singh Grover, in the series scripted by Vikram Bhatt.
• Mika initially planned to cast Karan Singh Grover and a newcomer to keep the project within budget. However, Bipasha insisted on joining the cast.
• The production, planned for three months, stretched to six months, causing significant financial losses.

• Despite being a married couple, Bipasha and Karan demanded separate rooms and even asked to be shifted to a different hotel mid-shoot.
