Miley Cyrus Has Fans Asking Her to Sign ‘Their Parts.’ She Reveals If There’s Any Autograph She Won’t Give

The Grammy winner Miley Cyrus shares her playful approach to autographs, memories of her wild performances, and teases her new album and film, Something Beautiful.

Miley Cyrus continues to prove she’ll go the extra mile for her fans—no matter how bizarre the request.

During her appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday, May 22, the 32-year-old pop star shared how devoted she is to her supporters, even when they ask her to sign unusual body parts.

“People want me to sign all kinds of things,” Cyrus said with a grin. When Kimmel asked if there was anything she wouldn’t sign, she answered, “No. I’ll pretty much do anything. That’s my vibe.”

Kimmel remarked on the commotion surrounding Cyrus whenever she steps out, noting fans were lined up outside the studio hoping for a glimpse of the “Flowers” singer. Cyrus beamed, promising to greet them personally after the show. “I’m excited to see them again,” she said. “I’m going to sign autographs and say hello to everybody.”

She didn’t have to wait long to connect with an adoring fan. During the taping, an audience member shared how much Cyrus’s Hannah Montana era had shaped them. Laughing, she quipped, “Don’t model your whole life after me!”

Cyrus also revealed she sometimes takes fan suggestions to heart, especially when it comes to song covers. “Someone once told me to cover Ariana Grande’s ‘No Tears Left to Cry’ instead of Steely Dan, and I did it,” she said. “It was a great idea.”

Fans even inspired her to consider revisiting her iconic Bangerz era. “I didn’t know that was wanted,” she admitted when a fan proposed a sequel tour, adding that it planted a “good seed” in her mind for future plans.

Despite her willingness to sign fans’ bodies, Cyrus emphasized that she’s moved into a more refined stage of her career as she readies her new album and film, Something Beautiful, releasing May 30.

“This new era is very sophisticated,” she explained. Reflecting on her evolution, she recalled testing out her infamous 2013 MTV VMAs teddy bear performance on Kimmel’s stage first. “I danced half-naked in a teddy bear outfit here, and everyone thought I was crazy,” she said. “But to see if it was going to work, I did it here first.”

Cyrus described her time on Kimmel as a “full-circle moment,” showcasing how she’s grown over the years. During the episode, she also performed her new single, “More to Lose,” which is part of the Something Beautiful tracklist. The song, released earlier in May, follows the anthemic “End of the World.”

Cyrus’s new project comes after her Grammy-winning album Endless Summer Vacation in 2023, which saw her single “Flowers” take home two Grammys: Best Pop Solo Performance and Record of the Year. She called the awards “affirming and healing” in a May 2025 interview on The Zane Lowe Show, saying, “I needed to hold a trophy and feel for a moment that I had achieved something real.”

As she prepares to launch her next chapter, it’s clear that Miley Cyrus is still willing to embrace the unexpected—both in her music and her interactions with fans.
