May 30, 2025 : Pop icon Miley Cyrus has officially released her much-anticipated ninth studio album, ‘Something Beautiful’, marking a major milestone in her nearly 20-year career. This follows the massive success of her 2023 album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’, which featured the global chart-topper ‘Flowers’.
‘Something Beautiful’: A Visual and Musical Journey
Described by Cyrus as “a unique visual experience fueled by fantasy” and “a one of a kind pop opera,” the album dives deep into themes like beauty, death, psychedelia, impermanence, heartbreak, and destruction. It showcases Cyrus’s artistic evolution and willingness to experiment with new sounds and narratives.
Cyrus explains that the album is about embracing difficult and painful experiences, “taking these experiences, even when they’re painful or we want to throw them away… and wrapping them in beautiful bows and ribbons,” turning hardship into something to appreciate.
Exclusive Listening Party and Upcoming Musical Film
Ahead of the album’s release, Cyrus hosted an intimate listening event at the iconic Chateau Marmont, where she performed new songs such as ‘Easy Lover’, ‘More to Lose’, and ‘End of the World’, alongside her hits ‘Flowers’ and ‘The Climb’.
