Miley Cyrus Shocks Fans: “Niley for Life!” Still Into Nick Jonas?

June 06, 2025: Miley Cyrus is getting candid about her past romance with Nick Jonas. During her appearance on the latest episode of the Every Single Album podcast, the Flowers hitmaker opened up about the emotional fallout from her teenage breakup with the Jealous singer — and revealed that she even penned a song about it.

Cyrus, now 32, recalled being left “sobbing” and “distraught” after Jonas chose to tour with his band instead of joining her on her shows. “He was, like, separating himself from the Disney thing, and I wanted him to take me on the tour,” she explained. “Like, ‘Why don’t we do it together? I don’t understand why you’re leaving me.’”

Though the relationship ended years ago, the Something Beautiful singer still has a soft spot for her former flame. “I like Nick. I’m into him,” she admitted during the podcast. However, she also acknowledged that Jonas has moved on, referencing his wife, Priyanka Chopra, and their 3-year-old daughter, Malti. “We’re all moving on,” she said with a smile, adding, “Everything is good in life.”

But the most nostalgic moment came when she said, “Niley for life,” calling back to the fan-favorite couple nickname that defined their Disney Channel era romance. The two initially dated from 2006 to 2007, and briefly reconnected in 2009.

Despite their split, Miley’s comments show there’s no bad blood — just sweet memories and a little bit of what-ifs.
