Alongside the album, Miley revealed that a visual album, also titled Something Beautiful, will follow in June, offering fans a complete sensory experience.
In an Instagram post on Tuesday evening, Miley shared the official trailer for the album and its visual counterpart. “Miley Cyrus debuts the official trailer for her highly anticipated ninth studio album, Something Beautiful, set for release on May 30, 2025,” the caption read. The trailer also confirmed that the album, which will feature 13 original tracks, is executive produced by Miley herself and Shawn Everett.
The accompanying visual album will be directed by Miley, along with Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter. The project is produced in collaboration with Columbia Records, Live Nation, and XYZ Films. Described as a “unique visual experience fueled by fantasy” and “a one-of-a-kind pop opera,” the visual album promises to be an extravagant affair. It will showcase Miley in an array of bold, fashion-forward outfits from renowned designers such as Thierry Mugler, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Alexander McQueen.
This upcoming album follows her successful 2023 record Endless Summer Vacation, which included the chart-topping hit Flowers. Flowers became a global anthem and earned Miley her first Grammy. She also won another Grammy in 2024 for her collaboration with Beyoncé on the song Il Most Wanted.
