Shahid and Mira’s relationship began as an arranged match introduced through a religious group.
- The Proposal: Mira took approximately six months to agree to the marriage. Shahid, despite a 13–14 year age gap, reportedly fell for her at first sight during a seven-hour conversation at a Delhi farmhouse, captivated by her light hazel eyes.
- The Marriage: Unfazed by Shahid’s celebrity, Mira agreed, and the couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Delhi on July 7, 2015. They are now parents to two children: daughter Misha (born 2016) and son Zain (born 2018).
