May 4, 2025: The buzz around Miss World 2025 is gaining momentum as international contestants begin arriving in Hyderabad for the 72nd edition of the prestigious beauty pageant. Among the first to touch down at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport were Jessica Scandiuzzi Pedroso from Brazil and Emma Deanna Cathryn Morrison from Canada.
The two beauty queens received a traditional and heartfelt welcome from Telangana state officials, reflecting the state’s signature hospitality and cultural warmth.

Scheduled to take place on May 31, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, this year’s Miss World marks the second consecutive edition hosted in India. The global event will feature participants from over 100 countries, further elevating Hyderabad’s profile on the world stage.
Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic, the reigning Miss World, will crown her successor at the grand finale, which promises to be a spectacular celebration of beauty, talent, and cultural pride.
India’s own representative, Femina Miss India World 2023 Nandini Gupta from Kota, Rajasthan, has been deeply immersed in her preparations for the international competition. With a rigorous training schedule and a strong focus on Telangana’s heritage, Nandini aims to make a powerful impact on the global platform.
She shared her excitement about the opportunity to represent India, describing the event as a proud moment not just for her but for the state of Telangana. She emphasized the pageant’s potential to drive tourism, highlight local culture, and contribute to the regional economy.
Earlier this year, Miss World 2023 Krystyna Pyszkova and Julia Morley, Chairperson and CEO of the Miss World Organization, visited Hyderabad to assess preparations. They praised India’s vibrant culture and expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming edition, confident that this year’s event would surpass expectations.
