Tom Cruise’s final Ethan Hunt adventure sees a boost on its second weekend, nearing ₹70 crore milestone.

May 25, 2025: Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning is back in the headlines with a significant jump at the box office during its second weekend. The eighth and final installment of the iconic spy franchise, starring Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt, released in India on May 17 following its grand premiere at the Cannes Film Festival.

Despite a steady start during its opening week, the film picked up pace on Day 8 (Saturday), earning an estimated ₹7 crore across languages including English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. This pushed its total India box office collection to approximately ₹65.3 crore, as per early estimates from trade tracker Sacnilk.com.

  • Day 8: ₹7 crore (early estimates)

The film also features Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Henry Czerny, and Angela Bassett. Serving as a direct sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023), this installment is widely seen as the epic conclusion to the legendary action saga.

While it faced competition from Bollywood releases like Bhool Chuk Maaf and Kesari Veer, Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning continues to draw audiences with its high-octane action and Tom Cruise’s unmatched charisma.
