The eighth and final installment in the franchise beat the previous series record set by Mission: Impossible – Fallout ($61.2 million), registering the biggest opening weekend for the Mission: Impossible films.

The film earned $63 million across its standard 3-day opening and added another $14 million on Memorial Day itself, only dropping by -22.2% from Sunday. This performance catapulted The Final Reckoning past Mission: Impossible II ($70.8 million) and Pearl Harbor ($75.17 million) to become the 17th biggest Memorial Day opening in U.S. box office history.
Globally, The Final Reckoning also hit the $100 million milestone within its first weekend, reinforcing the film’s momentum and setting it on a path toward a potential $1 billion global haul.
