Mohit Suri And Aditya Roy Kapur Dismiss Reunion Rumours
Saiyaara Director Clears The Air
January 6, 2026: After the success of Saiyaara sparked speculation about Mohit Suri next project fans buzzed about a possible reunion with Aditya Roy Kapur. Reports claimed Aditya had exited the film but Mohit has now clarified that no such project was ever discussed and the script is still in progress.
Mohit told Bombay Times that Aditya is a close friend and they mostly meet to play cricket not for work. He added that the script he is writing is not meant for Aditya and casting will be revealed only once everything is final. Aditya also rubbished exit rumours joking that their only meetings happen on the cricket field.
On the work front Aditya was last seen in Metro In Dino with Sara Ali Khan. Mohit Suri is currently developing a new love story and has ruled out a Saiyaara sequel for now despite strong fan demand.
