March 18, 2025: Captain Cool Shows His Wild Side Ahead of IPL 2025
MS Dhoni has sent fans into a frenzy with his fiery transformation in a new advertisement directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the filmmaker behind the Bollywood blockbuster Animal. Ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, the former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain embraced a rugged look, sporting long hair reminiscent of Ranbir Kapoor’s fierce avatar from the hit film.

In the viral ad, Dhoni humorously asks Vanga if the look is “too much”, sparking an epic conversation that has taken social media by storm.
While the advertisement has created a buzz, MS Dhoni is laser-focused on IPL 2025, working relentlessly on his fitness and batting skills. Former CSK and India spinner Harbhajan Singh recently revealed that Dhoni is training rigorously for 2-3 hours daily, proving yet again why he remains one of the most dedicated cricketers in the league.

“I just met him recently at one of our friend’s daughter’s weddings. He looked very fit, solid. I asked him, ‘What you are doing at this age, isn’t it tough?’ He said, ‘Yes, it’s difficult, but this is the only thing I like doing. I find joy in it. I want to do it, go out and play,'” Harbhajan told ESPNcricinfo.
Despite not playing competitive cricket throughout the year, Dhoni’s discipline, hunger, and passion continue to set him apart.
