November 20, 2024: Mumbai Election 2024 Live Updates– Maharashtra witnessed an early surge in voters as the state commenced its assembly elections today. With polling beginning at 7 AM, Mumbai saw a mix of prominent Bollywood celebrities, political leaders, and citizens head to the booths to make their votes count.

Bollywood Stars Lead the Way

Actor Akshay Kumar was one of the earliest celebrities to cast his vote. Arriving at the polling booth early Wednesday morning, Akshay lauded the excellent arrangements, particularly for senior citizens, and greeted the paparazzi with a cheerful “good morning.”

Actor Rajkummar Rao also fulfilled his civic duty, voting at the Gyan Kendra Secondary School polling station in Mumbai. Speaking about the importance of the democratic process, he remarked, “It is our right in a democracy, so it’s important that we step outside to vote. I have performed my duties.”

Shiv Sena candidate Shaina NC exuded confidence after seeking blessings at a local temple. “I have received the blessings of Maa Mumbadevi, and with cooperation from all, I believe victory is certain,” she said. She also urged citizens to fulfill their moral responsibility by voting.

In Malkapur, BJP candidate Chainsukh Madanlal Sancheti received a public endorsement from actress Kangana Ranaut. In a video appeal, Kangana urged voters to back Sancheti and support the BJP-Mahayuti alliance.
