Mumbai Police’s Crime Branch Officials Arrive At Saif Ali Khan’s Residence

January 15, 2025: In a distressing incident late Wednesday night, actor Saif Ali Khan was injured during a confrontation with an intruder at his residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area. The incident occurred at the Satguru Sharan building, where Khan lives.

According to Mumbai Police reports, the altercation began when the intruder had a confrontation with Khan’s maid. When the actor intervened to de-escalate the situation, the intruder became aggressive, leading to a physical scuffle in which Khan sustained injuries.

Khan was promptly taken to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai for medical treatment, where he is currently undergoing surgery. His condition remains under observation. Mumbai Police officials from the Crime Branch have launched an investigation into the matter, with Deputy Commissioner of Police Dixit Gedam confirming that the actor was injured during the altercation and that the investigation is ongoing.

A statement from Khan’s PR team confirmed that the incident was an attempted burglary, and requested media and fans to be patient as the matter is under investigation.

The attack has sparked reactions from fellow celebrities. Actress Pooja Bhatt took to social media, urging Mumbai Police to increase security in Bandra, expressing concern about safety in the area. Chef Kunal Kapoor also expressed his shock and wished for Khan’s speedy recovery on Instagram.

On the professional front, Saif Ali Khan was last seen in the action film Devara Part 1, released in September 2024, and is set to star in the upcoming heist thriller Jewel Thief – The Red Sun Chapter, where he will face off against Jaideep Ahlawat in a tense battle.
