Musicians Raghu Dixit and Varijashree Venugopal to Tie the Knot in an Intimate October Ceremony

Celebrated musician Raghu Dixit, frontman of the Raghu Dixit Project, is all set to marry Grammy-nominated singer and flautist Varijashree Venugopal in a close-knit ceremony this October. The couple, who have kept their relationship largely private, confirmed the news in a recent conversation with Bangalore Times.

Raghu, 50, shared that the wedding will take place later this month, though the exact date and venue remain under wraps. Reflecting on the upcoming milestone, he described the experience as “grounding” and a welcome surprise after years of personal challenges.

“I honestly did not see this coming. I had prepared myself to be single and alone for the rest of my life, but life had other plans,” he said.

The couple’s relationship began as a friendship, which gradually deepened into love. “What began as a strong friendship naturally evolved into love and companionship. We share similar interests and connect deeply. With the blessings of Varijashree’s parents, we are excited to begin this new chapter of our lives together,” Raghu added.

The wedding is expected to be a private affair attended by close family and friends.
