May 12, 2025: Hollywood actress Amber Heard has shared a joyous and heartwarming update with her followers this Mother’s Day, revealing that she has welcomed twins—a daughter named Agnes and a son named Ocean.

On Sunday, the actress took to Instagram to share the good news, posting a touching image of her twins’ tiny feet along with an emotional message. “This year I am elated beyond words to celebrate the completion of the family I’ve strived to build for years. Today I officially share the news that I welcomed twins into the Heard gang. My daughter Agnes and my son Ocean are keeping my hands (and my heart) full,” Amber wrote.
In her heartfelt post, Amber reflected on her journey into motherhood, expressing her immense joy and gratitude for this new chapter in her life. She noted how her first daughter, Oonagh, who was born in April 2021, changed her world forever and how she felt an even greater sense of fulfillment with the arrival of her twins:
“When I had my first baby girl Oonagh four years ago, my world changed forever. I thought I couldn’t possibly burst with more joy. Well, now I am bursting times three!!!”
Amber, who has always been open about her fertility challenges, shared how choosing motherhood on her own terms was one of the most humbling experiences of her life:
“Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life. I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.”

Amber’s journey to motherhood began with the birth of her first child, Oonagh, via surrogacy in 2021. She publicly announced Oonagh’s arrival two months after the birth, sharing that she had always wanted to have a child on her own terms. In June 2021, Amber spoke about the importance of normalizing the idea that women can have children without needing to be in a relationship or have a traditional marriage:
“I hope we arrive at a point in which it’s normalized to not want a ring in order to have a crib.”
