‘Nadaaniyan’ Trailer: Ibrahim Ali Khan And Khushi Kapoor’s Whirlwind Romance With A Twist

March 1, 2025: Get ready for a heartwarming and dramatic journey of first love with Netflix’s upcoming original film, Nadaaniyan.

The much-anticipated trailer, released on March 1, 2025, offers a peek into the whirlwind romance between Pia Jai Singh (Khushi Kapoor) and Arjun Mehta (Ibrahim Ali Khan), two people from different backgrounds who think they’ve got everything figured out—until their emotions take the wheel.

Directed by Shauna Gautam, Nadaaniyan is set to captivate audiences with its blend of youthful romance, humor, and drama. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra under the banner of Dharmatic Entertainment. It’s set to stream on Netflix starting March 7, 2025.

In a recent post on his Instagram, Karan Johar shared the trailer with fans, writing: “It’s a new semester of love & everyone’s hoping to pass this test! Starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, watch Nadaaniyan, out March 7, only on Netflix.”

The movie marks the debut of Ibrahim Ali Khan, alongside Khushi Kapoor, and boasts a strong ensemble cast including Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj in key roles. The film follows the story of Pia, a South Delhi diva, who is determined to create the perfect love story for herself. She ropes in Arjun, a middle-class overachiever and aspiring debate team captain, into a transactional arrangement. Arjun is asked to pretend to be her boyfriend, helping her create the perfect romantic facade. However, as the two begin to spend time together, real feelings sneak in, and they’re forced to face the complexity of love, questioning if their romance can be scripted after all.

Director Shauna Gautam shared her excitement for the film, saying, “Directing Nadaaniyan has been an incredibly special journey for me, especially as my first film. This story is close to my heart, capturing the innocence and often surprising nature of first love.” She also expressed her gratitude for the support from Karan Johar and Dharmatic Entertainment, noting, “Collaborating with Karan sir and Dharmatic Entertainment has been a dream, and their support has been invaluable in bringing this vision to life.”

With its unique charm, relatable characters, and captivating narrative, Nadaaniyan promises to be a refreshing romantic comedy that will touch hearts. Fans of love stories, youthful energy, and Bollywood charm will not want to miss this.

Nadaaniyan will premiere on Netflix on March 7, 2025.
