Mumbai, October 29, 2024: Veteran actor Nana Patekar’s upcoming film Vanvaas, co-starring Utkarsh Sharma, is all set for a December release. On Tuesday, the makers of Vanvaas unveiled an intriguing teaser that hints at a powerful exploration of family bonds and emotional upheaval.

“Kuch kahaaniyann le jaati hai humein apnon ke kareeb! This festive season, brace yourselves for a rollercoaster ride of emotions,” the makers captioned the teaser, which has already started generating buzz with its unique concept and captivating visuals.

The teaser offers a glimpse of Nana Patekar and Utkarsh Sharma in transformative roles, presenting a gripping narrative on family dynamics. Both actors deliver powerful performances that promise to redefine traditional familial bonds with raw intensity and emotion.

Director Anil Sharma shared insights into the making of Vanvaas in a recent interview. “We have done the shooting in Varanasi and Shimla. The best part of Vanvaas is the scenes of Nana Patekar and Utkarsh and their chemistry,” he said. Explaining the film’s theme, Sharma added, “Vanvaas is a different take on Ramayana and vanvaas, where kids make their parents take exile. It’s like a ‘Kalyug Ka Ramayana’—a tale where one’s own give them vanvaas.”

Umesh Kr Bansal, Chief Business Officer at Zee Studios, expressed excitement about the project, stating, “We are thrilled to back such an extraordinary project. Vanvaas offers a fresh take on modern-day family dynamics, and we are confident it will deliver a truly unique experience for the audience.”

Written, produced, and directed by Anil Sharma, Vanvaas will release under Zee Studios Worldwide. With its unique twist on a timeless theme, the film is poised to offer audiences an emotional and thought-provoking cinematic journey this December.
