In 2003, Nayanthara starred in her first Malayalam film, “Manassinakkare.” ‘Ayya’ in Tamil cinema and ‘Lakshmi’ in Telugu cinema marked her debuts in the film industry in 2005 and 2006, respectively. After showcasing her talent in the female-driven films “Anaamika,” “Maya,” “Kolamavu Kokila,” “Airaa,” and “Netrikann,” Nayanthara rose to prominence as one of the leading actresses in South Indian cinema. She also collaborated with Shah Rukh Khan, aka “Jawan,” on a project that proved to be significant for her.
