Neena Gupta Opens Up About Her Working Experience In Malayalam Series '1000 Babies'
October 17, 2024: Veteran actor Neena Gupta is set to appear in the upcoming Malayalam series 1000 Babies, which will be released on Disney+ Hotstar on October 18.
This marks her third project in the Malayalam film industry. Sharing her experience working in South Indian cinema, Neena expressed her admiration for the discipline and collaborative spirit of the industry, noting that people arrive on set punctually and work together without complaint, even though shifts may extend.
Actor Rahman, who stars alongside Neena, echoed her sentiments, appreciating the equal treatment on set, where everyone, from actors to crew members, shares the same food and camaraderie.
Directed by Najeem Koya, 1000 Babies revolves around the investigation of a mass infanticide incident, showcasing a dark and intense storyline. Neena Gupta plays a unique and challenging role, unlike any she has taken on before. Initially, she was hesitant about the project due to the unfamiliarity of the role but was ultimately convinced after reflecting on the gripping narrative.
Fans can expect to see Neena in a completely new avatar as the series premieres on October 18.
