Neetu Kapoor and Riddhima Celebrate Independence Day with Family in Style

Veteran actor Neetu Kapoor celebrated Independence Day in the most heartwarming way—with a cozy family gathering. Her daughter, Riddhima Kapoor, shared a glimpse of the intimate celebration on Instagram, where the family came together to mark the occasion.

The photo posted by Riddhima featured the mother-daughter duo twinning in elegant white outfits, standing alongside Neetu’s sister-in-law, Rima Jain, and other relatives. The warm family bond was evident in the smiles they shared, perfectly captured in the photo.

Riddhima captioned the post simply with “Fam jam,” reflecting the joyful and close-knit spirit of the day.

Neetu Kapoor, a beloved figure in Indian cinema, began her acting career at the young age of eight and quickly became a household name with films like “Do Dooni Chaar” and “Do Kaliyan.” Throughout her illustrious career, she starred in around 70 to 80 films between the ages of 5 and 21.

In 1980, Neetu married her co-star Rishi Kapoor, with whom she shared the screen in several classic hits like “Amar Akbar Anthony,” “Khel Khel Mein,” and “Kabhi Kabhie.” Their on-screen chemistry and off-screen romance have left a lasting legacy in Bollywood. Unfortunately, Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, at the age of 67, after battling leukemia.

After taking a break from acting to focus on her family, Neetu Kapoor made a triumphant return to the big screen in 2022 with the film “Jugjugg Jeeyo,” where she starred alongside Anil Kapoor. Fans are eagerly awaiting her next project, “Letters to Mr. Khan,” which also features Sunny Kaushal and Shraddha Srinath.

Riddhima Kapoor, on the other hand, has made a name for herself as a successful jewelry designer and enjoys a large following on social media. Earlier this year, she appeared alongside her mother and brother, Ranbir Kapoor, on “The Great Indian Kapil Show.” In an exciting development, Riddhima is set to appear in the third season of Netflix’s “Fabulous Lives of Bollywood Wives,” titled “Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Lives.”

This Independence Day celebration was a beautiful reminder of the Kapoor family’s enduring love and bond, a sentiment cherished by their fans across the globe
