March 15, 2025: Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor marked her daughter-in-law Alia Bhatt’s 32nd birthday with a heartfelt social media post, expressing her love and admiration. However, upon hearing the sad news of the passing of filmmaker Deb Mukherjee, the father of her close friend and director Ayan Mukerji, Alia decided to cut her trip short. The 83-year-old filmmaker’s death deeply affected Alia, and she, along with her sister Shaheen Bhatt and Ranbir, visited Ayan’s residence to offer their condolences.

Despite the tragic news, Alia celebrated her 32nd birthday with media interactions on March 12, where she shared exciting updates about her upcoming film, Love and War. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film stars Alia alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. Alia mentioned that the cast is currently filming at night to ensure a distraction-free environment for Bhansali’s elaborate storytelling approach.
