Netflix Unveils ‘Khakee: The Bengal Chapter’ Teaser Featuring Jeet & Prosenjit Chatterjee

A High-Stakes Crime Thriller Set in Kolkata’s Underworld

Mumbai, February 4: Netflix is set to deliver an action-packed crime thriller with Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, directed by Debatma Mandal and Tushar Kanti Ray. The show, which is part of Netflix’s 2025 content lineup, marks the first-ever on-screen collaboration between Bengali superstars Jeet and Prosenjit Chatterjee.

Jeet plays a fearless IPS officer, while Prosenjit Chatterjee is reportedly portraying a powerful politician. The gritty series delves into crime, corruption, and law enforcement, offering a gripping narrative set in early 2000s Kolkata.

A Power-Packed Star Cast & Riveting Plot

The showrunner Neeraj Pandey, known for delivering intense crime dramas, has co-written the script alongside Debatma Mandal and Samrat Chakraborty.

Along with Jeet and Prosenjit, the series features a stellar ensemble, including:
✔️ Saswata Chatterjee
✔️ Chitrangda Singh
✔️ Ritwik Bhowmik
✔️ Aadil Khan
✔️ Pooja Chopra
✔️ Aakanksha Singh
✔️ Mimoh Chakraborty
✔️ Shraddha Das

The plot follows an IPS officer’s relentless fight against a criminal empire, tackling powerful political influences and lawlessness, promising a gripping tale of justice and redemption.

Jeet & Prosenjit’s First On-Screen Collaboration

Although Jeet produced Aay Khuku Aay (2022), starring Prosenjit Chatterjee, the two never shared screen space before. Fans are eager to witness their explosive on-screen chemistry in Khakee: The Bengal Chapter.

A Successor to ‘Khakee: The Bihar Chapter’

The series is a follow-up to Netflix’s hit crime thriller Khakee: The Bihar Chapter, which premiered on November 25, 2022. It portrayed the real-life battle between IPS officer Amit Lodha and a dreaded gangster.

With Khakee: The Bengal Chapter, Netflix expands its crime universe, offering a deeper dive into the law and order struggles in Eastern India. The teaser has already sparked excitement, and the series is expected to bring another gripping, edge-of-the-seat crime saga to audiences.
