Netflix's "Inspector Zende" offers the best cat-and-mouse chase between Manoj Bajpayee and Jim Sarbh.
August 7, 2025, in Mumbai, India: Get ready for an exciting battle between two of the best actors in the business. In the forthcoming Netflix movie “Inspector Zende,” Manoj Bajpayee will play a determined cop who will have to face off against the always interesting Jim Sarbh. Fans are very excited about the movie because the first poster made it look like a thrilling cat-and-mouse pursuit.
The story takes place in Mumbai in the 1970s and 1980s, which is a gritty and sentimental time. It is about tenacity and pure grit. It is partially based on the true story of the search for the “Swimsuit Killer,” who made a daring escape from Tihar Jail. Manoj Bajpayee will play the main character, Inspector Madhukar Zende, a guy whose only goal is to apprehend his elusive victim. Jim Sarbh, on the other hand, will play the charming but dangerous assassin Carl Bhojraj.
Chinmay D. Mandlekar wrote and directed the movie. It also has a great cast, with Bhalchandra Kadam, Sachin Khedekar, Girija Oak, and Harish Dudhade playing important roles.
For producer Om Raut, this movie is more than simply a job; it’s a dream come true. “It was my father’s dream to make a movie about Inspector Zende,” he said in a news release. “Inspector Zende’s story is one that deserves to be seen, remembered, and celebrated.” Jay Shewakramani, the producer, said that Netflix is the best partner for this remarkable story because they can bring “distinctive, true-spirited stories” to a global audience.
