New Documentary Reveals Matthew Perry Allegedly Received 27 Shots Of Ketamine Before His Death

February 27, 2025: A new Peacock documentary sheds light on the tragic final days of actor Matthew Perry, who passed away on October 28, 2023, due to an accidental overdose. Perry, best known for his role as Chandler Bing on Friends, had struggled with addiction throughout his life, and his untimely death left fans, friends, and family devastated.

According to Perry’s autopsy report, he had “high levels of ketamine” in his system at the time of his death. The documentary delves deeper into the circumstances surrounding this, revealing that Perry was administered 27 shots of the drug during his last three days alive. Dr. Salvador Plasencia, a physician with a controversial past, allegedly provided the ketamine, despite knowing the risks involved. Martin Estrada, the former U.S. Attorney for the Central District of California, highlighted in the documentary that the individuals involved should have known better, given Perry’s high risk factors and the lack of medical supervision.

The documentary details how Perry received ketamine injections in questionable locations, including the back of a car in a parking lot. Estrada claims that despite Perry’s poor reaction to the drug, Dr. Plasencia did nothing to intervene or stop the illegal injections. Ultimately, Perry’s live-in assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, administered the fatal shot of ketamine, which is believed to have occurred near Perry’s jacuzzi.

Prosecutors revealed that Iwamasa had been injecting Perry with six to eight doses of ketamine daily from October 24 to 27. On the morning of October 28, Iwamasa gave Perry two injections and later another after Perry requested a larger dose, instructing Iwamasa to prepare the jacuzzi. Tragically, after running errands, Iwamasa returned to find Perry’s lifeless body in the water.

The documentary paints a haunting picture of Perry’s final days, shedding light on the people who took advantage of his struggles with addiction and the tragic events that led to his death.
