New Poster of Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘GOAT’ Unveiled; Trailer Release Date Announced

In a special Independence Day treat for fans, the makers of GOAT, starring Thalapathy Vijay, unveiled a brand-new poster of the much-anticipated film. Adding to the excitement, director Venkat Prabhu announced that the trailer for the film will be released on August 17 at 5 PM.

Taking to social media, Venkat Prabhu shared the update with a teaser, writing, “GET . SET . GOat. Buckle up.. #TheGoatTrailer is landing on your screens on August 17th, 5 PM (sic).”

The new poster features Thalapathy Vijay in an intense avatar, setting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling cinematic experience.

Archana Kalpathi, CEO of AGS Entertainment, hinted at the scale and impact of the film, saying, “The audiences are in for a treat. The collaboration of Venkat Prabhu and Thalapathy Vijay is spectacular. Both creatively and visually, the film pushes boundaries, and we are looking forward to the audiences experiencing it with the trailer this Saturday. The trailer, though, is just a small glimpse of what’s in store.”

GOAT is set for a worldwide release on September 5, 2024, with Zee Studios handling distribution across North India. Produced on a massive budget by AGS Entertainment, the film features music by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Siddhartha Nuni, and editing by Venkat Raajen.

Touted to be a period science fiction film, GOAT boasts an ensemble cast, including Prashanth, Prabhudheva, Sneha, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Laila, Mohan, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raj, with each taking sides between the hero and villain. Thalapathy Vijay is reportedly playing dual roles in the film, adding another layer of intrigue to this ambitious project.

Vijay was last seen in the hit action drama Leo, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, and his collaboration with Venkat Prabhu in GOAT is eagerly awaited by fans and critics alike.
