May 18, 2025: Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman is toying with an intriguing idea that could delight fans of her expansive career — a television series uniting all her most iconic characters.
While speaking to People magazine at the Season 2 premiere of Hulu’s ‘Nine Perfect Strangers’, Kidman revealed her excitement at the possibility of blending her diverse roles into a single, ambitious project.
“I’d be up for it,” she said with a laugh. “As you know, I’m up for most things. I like to be able to say I’m game. So I’m always ready to try things.”

The actress’s acclaimed performances span multiple genres and styles. She expressed interest in revisiting beloved characters such as:
- Celeste Wright from Big Little Lies, a nuanced portrayal of a woman navigating abuse and identity.
- Grace Fraser from The Undoing, a gripping thriller role full of emotional complexity.
- Margaret from Expats, a meditative exploration of identity, displacement, and motherhood.
- Kaitlyn Meade in Special Ops: Lioness, highlighting Kidman’s strength in portraying assertive leadership.
- Greer Garrison Winbury in The Perfect Couple, a layered character full of secrets and social tension.
While the idea of bringing these personas together sounds like a TV dream, Kidman ruled out teaming up with her husband, country music star Keith Urban, for any on-screen collaboration.
“We’re together in life, so we don’t need to do our show together. Our life is a show,” she quipped.
Kidman also spoke about her evolving role behind the camera. As a producer, she’s becoming increasingly involved in shaping projects from the ground up.
“It’s about stepping into my power and making decisions to bring these visions to life,” she said, reflecting on her creative journey.
Though just a concept for now, a Nicole Kidman cinematic universe might not be too far-fetched — and would certainly be a treat for her global fanbase.
