A post shared by NMACC India Weekend (@nmacc.indiaweekend), Chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, has once again stolen the spotlight—not just for her cultural leadership but for her breathtaking fashion statement. In a video shared on the official NMACC social media handle, Nita Ambani welcomed audiences to the Lincoln Center while dressed in a stunning sindoori red Banarasi silk saree, symbolizing the rich artistry of India.

The saree, crafted with real gold and silver zari, featured elaborate Gandabherunda motifs and a majestic double gold border. Draped in classic Indian style, the ensemble was elevated with a coordinated red blouse adorned with vertical gold thread embroidery, brocade-detailed cuffs, and a wide U-neckline—perfectly balancing tradition with a hint of modern flair.

To complete the regal look, Nita Ambani wore statement gold jewellery, including a grand pendant necklace, matching earrings, and stacked kadhas. Her sleek center-parted bun, red bindi, and flawless makeup—defined by bold brows, kohl-lined eyes, and glossy coral-pink lips—added a final touch of elegance.

Nita Ambani emphasized the cultural significance of the upcoming event, stating, “Bringing NMACC to New York is not just about a weekend of performances; it’s about spreading India’s cultural voice to a global audience and truly taking the very best of India to the world.”

The NMACC India Weekend, scheduled from September 12-14, promises to be a celebration of Indian heritage through art, fashion, and performance. Fashion lovers and cultural enthusiasts alike are eagerly awaiting the global showcase, where India’s vibrant legacy takes center stage.

Nita was previously spotted wearing the same saree in May during a recce visit to New York with renowned designer Manish Malhotra, highlighting the garment’s symbolic and personal significance.
