As Netflixâs sci-fi juggernaut Stranger Things gears up for its final season, star Noah Schnappâwho plays Will Byersâhas dropped a poignant hint about the show’s conclusion. Speaking at the Broadway premiere of Stranger Things: The First Shadow, Schnapp revealed that the season five finale will leave viewers âtruly devastated.â

âAs sad as it was, Iâm so excited to see the worldâs reaction to watching the finale because thereâs not going to be a dry eye,â Schnapp told The Hollywood Reporter. âItâs going to be sad.â
Earlier, the actor had penned an emotional Instagram post after wrapping his final scene, calling the end of his journey with the show both âemotionalâ and âgrateful.â The post came just as Netflix confirmed that production wrapped in December 2024.
