January 19, 2025: American singer-songwriter and dancer Jason Derulo, known for his global hits like “Swalla”, recently immersed himself in Bollywood culture during his visit to India. The artist, who is in the country to promote his latest music video “Snake”, collaborated with Bollywood sensation Nora Fatehi for the highly anticipated track.
During his promotional tour, Derulo made a special appearance on a popular dance reality show, where he excited fans by dancing to Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic song “Chammak Challo” from the movie Ra.One. The track, sung by Akon and Hamsika Iyer, features Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Derulo also showcased his moves to another classic, the lively “UP Wala Thumka” from the film Hero No. 1, which has remained a fan favorite since its release in 1997. The song, sung by Sonu Nigam, features Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.


Derulo’s energy and enthusiasm for Bollywood music and dance left the audience cheering and added an extra layer of excitement to the show. Additionally, both Derulo and Nora Fatehi got Malaika Arora to groove to their track “Snack”, making the performance even more memorable.
The music video for “Snake” is directed by Moroccan filmmaker Abderrafia El Abdioui, with choreography led by Indian choreographer Rajit Dev, further emphasizing the cross-cultural collaboration in this vibrant project.
