Nushrratt Bharuccha Talks Fashion Sustainability And Her Upcoming Film ‘Chhorii 2’

March 27, 2025: Actress Nushrratt Bharuccha recently shared her thoughts on the evolving fashion industry and how sustainability has become a key factor. Speaking on the sidelines of Lakme Fashion Week, she expressed her belief in limiting consumerism, emphasizing that the best way to combat excessive consumption is through recycling and reusing what we already have.

“I think in fashion, what I like is that we have evolved to sustainability because deep in my heart, I believe that we can’t be such consumerists. There has to be a limit on how much we can consume, and I think the best way to stop consumption is to recycle and reuse what we already have. Give me this outfit, and I can wear it in five different ways. That is what I really like about fashion,” she said.

On Thursday, Nushrratt turned heads as she graced the Lakme Fashion Week runway, where she appeared as the showstopper for NIF Global ‘The Runway’ in collaboration with FDCI.

Speaking about her chic yet comfortable ensemble, Nushrratt said, “It’s very easy and comfortable. I can wear it any time, either for a party or for dinner or coffee.”

On the work front, Nushrratt is gearing up for the release of Chhorii 2, the much-anticipated sequel to the 2021 hit supernatural thriller. The film, which also stars Soha Ali Khan, will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 11, 2025.
