Fresh off her blockbuster debut in Saiyaara, actress Aneet Padda is set to star alongside Fatima Sana Sheikh in the courtroom drama Nyaya.
September 17, 2025: After a big debut in the romantic smash Saiyaara, actress Aneet Padda has finished her next project according to the sources , which is a huge change from her first one.
The 22-year-old actor, who won hearts as the romantic lead opposite Ahaan Panday earlier this year, is now getting ready to play a more dramatic and emotionally difficult role in a hard-hitting courtroom drama.
Aneet is now officially part of the cast of a movie called Nyaya. Nitya Mehra, who worked on Made in Heaven and Baar Baar Dekho, and her husband Karan Kapadia are both directing the movie. Aneet is getting back together with the director duo for this project. They worked together before on the show Big Girls Don’t Cry.
Nyaya has a great cast, with well-known performers Fatima Sana Shaikh and Arjun Mathur playing important roles. Aneet will play a teenage survivor who bravely stands up to a prominent spiritual leader who is suspected of wrongdoing. Sources close to the production say that her role is the emotional heart of the plot, which is said to deal with complicated ideas of justice, bravery, and the imbalance of power.
Aneet’s latest project is very different from her first movie, Saiyaara, which was made by Yash Raj Films and came out in July. The love drama, which is now one of the top ten movies on Netflix in India, showed her in a fun and young role. Nyaya, on the other hand, is going to show a more complex and gritty side of the young actress, which will show how versatile she is. Mohd.
