OG worldwide box office collection day 4: Pawan Kalyan Delivers Career-Best Hit, Beats Lifetime Collections of Gangubai Kathiawadi and 83

Pawan Kalyan’s gangster thriller, OG, has amassed a colossal ₹230 crore worldwide gross in its four-day opening weekend, cementing itself as the star’s highest-grossing film ever and surpassing the lifetime global totals of multiple recent blockbusters.

September 29, 2025: Pawan Kalyan, an actor and politician, has had a huge hit with his new action-thriller, OG (They Call Him OG). It broke records by making over ₹230 crore in its first four days of release, effectively ending its opening weekend with a strong performance.

The movie directed by Sujeeth and starring Kalyan as the mobster Ojas Gambheera has officially become the highest-grossing movie of his career and the first to reach the ₹200 crore mark worldwide.

Breakdown by Country and Region
Sacnilk, a company that tracks the industry, said that by the end of Sunday (Day 4), the film had made an impressive ₹140.20 crore net (₹168 crore gross) in the domestic market.

The domestic run started with a bang and ended with a steady weekend:

Opening Day (including paid previews): The actor made a record-breaking ₹84 crore, the most money he has ever made in his career.

On Friday, Day 2, the collections dropped a lot, but it was predicted, to ₹18.45 crore.

Saturday (Day 3) and Sunday (Day 4): The movie did well over the weekend, making ₹18.50 crore on both days and keeping up with good attendance despite the early decline.

OG has also done quite well internationally, with collections from other countries reaching almost $7 million (₹62 crore) in the first four days. This is a big part of the worldwide total of ₹230 crore gross.

Setting New Standards

OG has already made more money in its first weekend than numerous recent big releases have made in their entire runs, including movies like:

Gangubai Kathiawadi (₹210 crore)

Game Changer (₹200 crore)

83 (₹193 crore)

Guntur Kaaram (₹182 crore)

The movie’s future success depends on how well it does on its first Monday, which will be the real measure of how long it can stay in theaters.

The Action-Thriller OG is Emraan Hashmi’s first Telugu film. He plays the bad guy Omi Bhau. Ojas Gambheera (Pawan Kalyan), a former mobster, comes back to Mumbai’s dangerous underworld after a ten-year absence to settle scores with his nemesis, Omi Bhau.

The movie was directed by Sujeeth and stars Priyanka Mohan, Sriya Reddy, Arjun Das, and Prakash Raj in important parts. The movie’s huge opening shows that Pawan Kalyan is still a big draw at the box office and that Indian viewers still love high-octane gangster dramas.
