Olympic medalists Manu Bhaker and Aman Sehrawat, who made India proud with their stunning performances at the Paris Olympics, are set to appear on the popular television game show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC) Season 16, hosted by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan.
Both athletes were recently spotted on the sets of KBC in Mumbai, where they shared their inspiring stories and reflected on their Olympic journeys. Aman Sehrawat, who won a bronze medal in the 57 kg freestyle wrestling event, looked sharp in a black suit, while Manu Bhaker, India’s first-ever woman shooter to win an Olympic medal, gracefully posed for the cameras in a floral saree, proudly displaying her medal.
Manu Bhaker made history at the Paris Olympics by becoming the first Indian to win two medals at a single Olympic Games. She, along with her partner Sarabjot Singh, secured a bronze in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team event after defeating South Korea’s Lee Wonho and Oh Ye Jin with a score of 16-10 in the bronze medal play-off. Manu also opened India’s medal tally at the Olympics by clinching third place in the Women’s Individual 10m Air Pistol event. Her consistent performances marked a significant milestone for Indian shooting on the global stage.
Despite narrowly missing out on a historic treble, finishing fourth in the Women’s 25m Pistol Shooting event, Manu’s achievements continue to inspire young athletes across the country.
Aman Sehrawat’s bronze medal in the 57 kg freestyle wrestling event was another proud moment for India. The 21-year-old wrestler secured a 13-5 victory over Puerto Rico’s Darian Cruz, showcasing his determination and skill on the international stage.
Their upcoming appearance on Kaun Banega Crorepati is sure to be a treat for fans, as the two sports stars will share their experiences, challenges, and the hard work that went into achieving their Olympic dreams. Their presence on the show highlights not only their individual successes but also the growing strength and potential of Indian athletes on the global stage.
Tune in to see these inspiring champions share the hot seat with Amitabh Bachchan and celebrate their incredible achievements.
