Only Murders in the Building Season 5 Trailer: Selena Gomez, Steve Martin & Martin Short Return for Another Twisty Murder Mystery
Los Angeles, August 13: The mystery deepens at the Arconia! The makers of Only Murders in the Building have finally dropped the much-anticipated trailer for its fifth season, and it promises an even sharper blend of comedy, suspense, and intrigue. The fan-favorite crime-solving trio—Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Selena Gomez—are back to untangle yet another dark puzzle lurking within their iconic New York apartment complex.
This time, the shock comes close to home when the building’s beloved doorman, Lester (played by Teddy Coluca), dies under suspicious circumstances. While the police dismiss it as an accident, Charles (Martin), Oliver (Short), and Mabel (Gomez) aren’t buying it.
“A guy fills a fountain with blood in the most murderous building in New York. They say it’s accidental?” Charles asks in the trailer, setting the stage for yet another season of laugh-out-loud banter and nail-biting twists.
Selena Gomez shared the trailer with fans on social media, captioning it:
“The building always wins. Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building premieres September 9! #OMITB”
Created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, the show has become an awards-season darling, bagging 56 Emmy nominations and 7 wins over its first four seasons. With its razor-sharp writing, witty performances, and addictive mysteries, Season 5 is already shaping up to be another binge-worthy ride.
