Orry Posts Partying Video Showing Middle Finger After Questioning In Drugs Case

Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, alias Orry, took to Instagram late Wednesday night to post a defiant party video, complete with a middle finger gesture, shortly after being questioned for nearly eight hours by the Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) in connection with a major drug trafficking case.

November 27, 2025: The probe into the ₹252-crore mephedrone (MD) drug trafficking syndicate took a sensational turn this week, with socialite Orhan Awatramani (Orry) and actor Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor appearing before investigators for questioning.

Just hours after being mobbed by paparazzi and interrogated by the ANC’s Ghatkopar unit regarding his alleged attendance at drug-fueled rave parties, Orry sent a bold message to his millions of followers.

The Post-Questioning Party Post

Late Wednesday, Orry shared a video of himself dancing energetically at a vibrant concert. Dressed in a shimmering black mesh top, he is seen jumping and making enthusiastic hand gestures, culminating in a clear middle finger flip aimed directly at the camera.

The accompanying text on the video read, “I am a liver,” and the caption simply stated, “Just let me live.”

The timing of the defiant post—following his hours-long questioning—did not go unnoticed by social media users:

  • When one user sarcastically asked, “how are you posting from jail” in the comment section, Orry wittily shot back, “it’s called Wi-Fi.”
  • Other comments included, “Posting this mid questioning break” and “Pov :People be hating on me while im at a party doing this.”

The Drugs Case and Underworld Links

Orry’s appearance before the ANC on Wednesday followed two earlier summons he had delayed. He was reportedly questioned for nearly eight hours regarding explosive claims made by alleged drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, alias ‘Lavish,’ who was recently deported from Dubai and is linked to the Dawood Ibrahim gang.

The case dates back to the March 2024 seizure of over 126 kg of mephedrone from a manufacturing unit in Sangli.

  • The Allegations: During his interrogation, Shaikh reportedly claimed he organized lavish parties in Mumbai and Dubai, which were allegedly attended by several high-profile figures.
  • Names Mentioned: According to police sources, Shaikh named individuals including Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhanth Kapoor, filmmakers Abbas–Mustan, rapper Loka, Orry, and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique as attendees at these gatherings.
  • Orry’s Denial: Sources close to the investigation claimed Orry repeatedly denied all allegations and connections to the arrested accused, insisting he attends parties only to click photos with celebrities and claiming he doesn’t recall details of the events.

Orry’s refusal to cooperate fully and his immediate, defiant social media post suggest he intends to dismiss the legal scrutiny, even as police officials indicate he may be summoned for further questioning as the probe into the Dawood-linked syndicate deepens.
