‘Our Jigra…”: Neetu Kapoor Showers Love to Alia Bhatt’s Next Action Film

Alia Bhatt’s upcoming action drama ‘Jigra’ has captivated audiences with its intense teaser trailer. The film, directed by Vasan Bala and produced under Dharma Productions, showcases Alia in a powerful role, where she is seen fighting goons and embarking on a mission to save her brother, played by Vedang Raina.

The trailer highlights a strong sibling bond, with the soulful rendition of the classic “Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka” sung by Vedang himself, adding an emotional depth to the narrative.

Neetu Kapoor, Alia’s mother-in-law, also showed her support by sharing the film’s poster on her Instagram, proudly cheering for her “bahu.” The film was originally slated for release on September 27, 2024, but has now been rescheduled to October 11, 2024. Alia expressed her excitement for the release on her Instagram with the new date and poster.

Apart from ‘Jigra’, Alia has other major projects lined up, including Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, where she will star alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal, as well as ‘Alpha’, a spy thriller featuring Sharvari and directed by Shiv Rawail.
