Pakistani Actor Fawad Khan Makes Comeback In Indian Cinema With ‘Abir Gulaal’

It’s officially confirmed that Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor and Pakistani star Fawad Khan have begun shooting for their upcoming film Abir Gulaal.

The makers recently released the first look of the film, which features a warm moment between the two actors, with Vaani hugging Fawad. The project is being touted as an international production, incorporating a supporting cast from both India and the UK.

Directed by Aarti S Bagdi, Abir Gulaal is produced by Vivek B Agrawal, Avantika Hari, and Rakesh Sippy. The producers expressed their excitement about Fawad’s return to Indian cinema after an eight-year hiatus, anticipating that his global fanbase will embrace this project. They believe the chemistry between Fawad and Vaani will shine through, enhancing the film’s appeal.

The film’s narrative revolves around two individuals who inadvertently assist each other in healing, leading to unexpected love. Fawad Khan’s last Bollywood appearance was in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), and his return has sparked excitement among fans, with many expressing their enthusiasm on social media.
