Pakistani Anchor Nadia Khan’s Emotional Outburst on Celebrities Sparks Meme Fest Online, See Video!

May 9, 2025: Amid the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following a deadly terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam and retaliatory strikes by both nations, a viral outburst by Pakistani news anchor Nadia Khan has sparked online mockery and debate. The anchor criticized Pakistani celebrities for their silence during the crisis, accusing them of prioritizing their social media presence over national solidarity.

In an impassioned live broadcast, Khan said, “You people are shameless. You only care about your followers, your likes and your views. Shame on you. Your country needs you right now. Where are you? These people are shameless and should be called out.” She added, “Go stand at the border, fight in the war, what will you even do? You can’t even show support properly.”

Khan also praised Pakistan’s armed forces, saying, “Our soldiers are ready to give their lives. While you are sleeping peacefully, they are constantly patrolling our seas, our land and our skies. They haven’t even gone home. They will face the bullets first.”

Despite her patriotic fervor, the segment was widely mocked on social media, with many accusing her of melodrama. The moment a background crew member offered her a glass of water during her rant became the center of online humor. One user quipped, “Madam, please have some water, ohh sorry, sorry,” referencing the Indus Water Treaty in jest.

Other users chimed in with sarcastic takes like, “Is this for real?”, “Somebody tell her the battle is in Lahore, Pindi, and Karachi now,” and “The water supply has stopped.”

The anchor’s remarks come at a time of heightened military conflict. On May 7, the Indian army launched targeted strikes on terrorist camps in Pakistan. In response, Pakistan conducted drone attacks on Indian cities including Jammu, Srinagar, and Jaisalmer during the night of May 7-8, aiming at Indian military installations.

While Nadia Khan’s criticism appears to stem from a desire for greater national unity, her emotionally charged delivery has left her the subject of ridicule rather than rallying support, highlighting the often-blurred lines between patriotism and performative outrage in times of conflict.
