November 15, 2024: Pakistani TikToker Imsha Rehman has deactivated her social media accounts after explicit videos of her went viral, leading to a barrage of online harassment.
The young TikToker has become the new victim of privacy breach after her explicit videos have gone viral on social media and have been shared widely on whatsapp. After the controversy, she has become a scapegoat for social media trolling and hate messages.
Imsha, like fellow social media influencer Minahil Malik, has fallen victim to a data breach resulting in privacy violations and trolling.
The controversy erupted after the video circulated widely on platforms like WhatsApp, sparking intense trolling and hate messages aimed at Imsha. Facing relentless scrutiny, she has since deactivated her Instagram and TikTok accounts. So far, there is no word on whether she intends to take legal action over the privacy breach.
This incident highlights the vulnerability of influencers and the need for stricter measures to protect their privacy. Just days earlier, Minahil Malik experienced similar harassment when an alleged intimate video of her went viral. Despite claiming the video was fake and filing a complaint with the Federal Investigation Agency, Malik faced criticism from both the public and industry figures. Actress Mishi Khan even condemned the situation in a video, indirectly calling out Malik for allegedly seeking fame through controversy
