Panchayat Season 4 Smashes Views Worldwide — Get Ready for Season 5!

July 7, 2025: The hit Indian web series Panchayat has officially been renewed for a fifth season, following the record-smashing success of Season 4, which premiered on June 24 on Amazon Prime Video.

According to Prime Video, Panchayat Season 4 delivered the biggest opening in the franchise’s history during its launch week. It quickly became the #1 trending title in India and ranked among the Top 10 titles in over 42 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and the UAE. The season was streamed in more than 180 countries, reinforcing its global appeal.

In a post shared on Instagram, Prime Video announced the much-anticipated renewal with the caption:
“Hi 5 👋 Phulera wapas aane ki taiyyaari shuru kar lijiye (Get ready to come to Phulera for another ride). #PanchayatOnPrime, New Season, Coming Soon.”

Season 5 Coming in 2026

The streamer confirmed that Season 5 is currently in development and will premiere in 2026.

About the Series

Created by Deepak Kumar Mishra and Chandan Kumar, Panchayat is set in the fictional village of Phulera and explores the life of an engineering graduate-turned-panchayat secretary. The cast includes Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, Raghubir Yadav, Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Sanvikaa, Durgesh Kumar, and others.
