Pankaj Tripathi at Sidhivinayak: Pays tribute to Atal Bihari Vajpayee
National cinema award-winning actor Pankaj Tripathi, along with the cast and crew of the upcoming Vajpayee biopic ‘Main Atal Hoon,’ made a heartfelt pilgrimage to the renowned Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai on Monday to pay their respects on the birth anniversary of the former prime minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee. On social media, the “Mimi” actress has been spotted wearing a white kurta pajama in many photos. In addition to him, the shrine was visited by producer Vinod Bhanushali, vocalist Dhvani Bhanushali, and producer Sandeep Singh. Under the direction of filmmaker Ravi Jadhav, Tripathi plays the title character, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, in “Main Atal Hoon.” Salim-Sulaiman provided the soundtrack for the movie, while Rishi Virmani and Ravi Jadhav wrote the screenplay.
The first song from the movie “Desh Phele,” which stars Pankaj Tripathi, was released by the creators of “Main Atal Hoon,” on the 99th anniversary of former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s birth. On this momentous day, Pankaj Tripathi celebrated by treating fans to the first song on Instagram. The poet Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who recreated history, is the subject of the song. Manoj Muntashir and Payal Dev wrote the moving lyrics, which are sung by Jubin Nautiyal. The film’s developers just released the trailer, which centers on the life of the former prime minister.
He talked candidly about his political interests and his preparations for the Atal Bihari Vajpayee biography during the trailer’s premiere. He also related a humorous story about joining Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) during his college years. “A youth wing housed me. I’ve taken part in andolans. I even spent a week in prison! Mainly, we are going to be a nikal-chuka family.I came to see that the political route is fraught with difficulties. I decided to change course and began becoming interested in street theater as a result. I enrolled myself in Kaildas Rangalaya in Patna. Ishtar ki mujhe laga hai? Pankaj joked, “Yahaan kam se kam bol ke acting hoti hai ki’main acting kar raha hoon’.”
The movie is scheduled to premiere in theaters on January 19, 2024.
