July 30, 2025: The long-awaited romantic comedy Param Sundari, which stars Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor in a new combination, has officially set its new release date: August 29. Along with the news, a new motion poster that is sure to get people excited was released. Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films is calling this “the biggest love story of the year.”
The motion poster has a bright fresh picture of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor, which means the movie is coming out soon. Along with the news, the creators also said that “Pardesiya,” which they called the “love anthem of 2025,” will be out soon and that it would “feel every beat and every emotion of the love story.”
There was a lot of talk before regarding a change in the movie’s release schedule. Maddock Films had hinted at a change from its original July release by changing the teasers that came with theatrical prints of Maalik (released July 11) to show a “August” worldwide release. As previously reported by PeepingMoon, this intentional decision was meant to provide Param Sundari better awareness and reception in a less crowded release schedule, because there were already other rom-coms coming out in July.
Tushar Jalota, who is recognized for his work on Dasvi, directed Param Sundari, which is said to be a moving love story between people from different cultures. It looks at what happens when a lad from North India and a girl from South India, who live in very different worlds, come together. The movie offers a modern love story with Maddock Films’ trademark mix of fun and meaningful narrative. Param Sundari is set to be a big romance movie in 2025 since the lead couple has great chemistry on screen.
