Param Sundari Soars Past Dhadak 2, Mints This Amount Worldwide in Opening Weekend

September 1, 2025: After a slow start, Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s romantic comedy, Param Sundari, is doing well at the box office. It made a good ₹43 crore globally in its first weekend. The movie has now made more money than Dhadak 2 did in its entire run.

The movie did well after it was out on August 29. By the end of Sunday, it had made ₹26.75 crore in India. The movie did quite well on Sunday, making ₹10.25 crore, which helped its weekend total a lot.

The movie is doing well overseas, making over ₹11 crore in its first three days. However, its global total is still far below the recent hit Saiyaara, which made ₹117 crore in its first three days.

Trade sources say that the romantic comedy had a good overall Hindi occupancy of 17.37% on its third day, with more people going to see it in areas like Bengaluru and Chennai. Param Sundari is a cross-cultural love story about a boy from Delhi and a girl from Kerala who meet through an AI app. It was directed by Tushar Jalota. The movie’s success now rests on how well it can keep going throughout the important weekday run.
