February 25, 2025: After the massive success of Amar Singh Chamkila, Parineeti Chopra is all set to make her web series debut in an upcoming mystery thriller. Directed by Rensil D’Silva, known for his work in Ungli and Kurbaan, the untitled series will stream on Netflix.
Joining Parineeti in the series are a talented ensemble cast including Tahir Raj Bhasin, Anup Soni, Jennifer Winget, Chaitannya Choudhry, Sumeet Vyas, Soni Razdan, and Harleen Sethi. Produced by Siddharth P Malhotra, director of Maharaj, and Sapna Malhotra of Alchemy Productions, the series promises to deliver a gripping blend of mystery and suspense.
In a statement, creators Siddharth Malhotra and Rensil D’Silva expressed their excitement about collaborating with Netflix and the creative freedom it offers. They also praised Parineeti for choosing this series as her web debut.
Parineeti’s previous film, Amar Singh Chamkila, directed by Imtiaz Ali, showcased her in the role of Amarjot Kaur, the wife of the legendary Punjabi rockstar Amar Singh Chamkila, played by Diljit Dosanjh. The film, which delves into the untold story of Chamkila’s rise to fame and tragic death, was well-received by audiences.
Now, with her web series debut, Parineeti Chopra is all set to captivate viewers once again with her compelling performance in this thrilling new venture.
