Actor Parineeti Chopra recently delighted her fans by sharing one of her favorite treats for instant joy. In her latest Instagram post, Parineeti revealed her love for eating raw mango, known as “kacchi keri.” She posted a picture of the delicious treat, sprinkled with red chili powder and salt, with a caption offering a “pro tip” for finding happiness.

“Pro tip: Eat kacchi keri with salt and red chili powder to find instant happiness. Add nimbu for extra happiness. Repeat dish for unlimited happiness,” she wrote, inviting her followers to try this tangy and spicy snack for themselves.

Parineeti’s Professional Success

While Parineeti’s simple culinary joy captured attention, she is also basking in the success of her latest film, ‘Amar Singh Chamkila.’ Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film stars Parineeti alongside Diljit Dosanjh and tells the compelling story of Punjab’s legendary singer, Amar Singh Chamkila.

About ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’

The film, which is streaming on OTT platforms, portrays the life of Chamkila, a music icon in the 1980s who rose from poverty to stardom, only to be tragically assassinated at 27. Diljit Dosanjh plays the role of Chamkila, while Parineeti essays the role of his wife, Amarjot Kaur.

Parineeti expressed her joy and gratitude on social media, acknowledging the film’s impact and her role in it. “I am glad that I was able to make an impact with my work in Chamkila. This is something I’ve waited for years…” she shared. She also thanked director Imtiaz Ali for believing in her talent and giving her this opportunity.

Praise from Industry Veterans

The film has received praise from various quarters, including veteran director Hansal Mehta. In an Instagram post, Mehta lauded Imtiaz Ali’s work, calling ‘Chamkila’ his best film to date and an “experience” rather than just a movie. He praised the film’s audacity, musicality, and emotional depth, and highlighted the performances of Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra.

“His latest (his best) #CHAMKILA is not a film. It is an experience. Imtiaz has outdone himself and raced past his own filmography with a film for the ages,” Mehta wrote. He also commended the cinematography, editing, writing, and music, making special mention of Parineeti’s performance
