Pawan Singh’s Wife Claims He Forced Her to Take Abortion Pills

In a shocking press conference, Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh’s wife, Jyoti Singh, accused him of repeatedly giving her abortion pills and torturing her for objecting. The disturbing claims detail physical and emotional abuse, forcing Jyoti to take 25 sleeping pills in one night, escalating the couple’s legal and public battle.

October 9, 2025: The acrimonious marital dispute between Bhojpuri superstar Pawan Singh and his wife Jyoti Singh escalated into a full-blown public spectacle on October 8th, as both parties addressed the media separately, each presenting a devastatingly different narrative of their marriage.

Jyoti Singh Alleges Repeated Abuse and Forced Abortions

Speaking at her press conference in Mumbai, Jyoti Singh made a series of shocking and disturbing claims. She alleged that her husband subjected her to repeated emotional and physical abuse, and most distressingly, forced her to terminate her pregnancies.

“He says he yearned for a child, but someone who truly wants a child doesn’t give his wife medication,” Jyoti stated, alleging that she was given abortion pills multiple times.

She further revealed the extreme emotional toll the trauma took on her, recounting a night when she was hospitalized: “When I objected, he tortured me so much that I took 25 sleeping pills at 2 a.m.” She confirmed that she was then rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri by her husband’s family and team members. Jyoti emphasized that Pawan Singh’s actions had “forced me to speak out today” and detailed the lasting negative effects on her health and mental state.

Pawan Singh Responds, Calls Claims Exaggerated

Later that evening, Pawan Singh held his own press conference, where he vehemently refuted his wife’s allegations, calling them exaggerated and one-sided.

He recounted a recent meeting with Jyoti at his flat in Lucknow, which he claims he had pre-informed the administration about. He maintained that only “I, she, and God know” the truth of how he behaved, but dismissed her latest actions. He claimed Jyoti refused to leave until their divorce case was resolved, adding, “I asked, can a case be fought while living under the same roof?”

“The Public is God,” Says Pawan Singh

Responding to the mounting public scrutiny, Pawan Singh appealed to his fans and denied having any intention to disrespect them. “For me, the public is God. I would never hurt the sentiments of those who helped me reach this position,” he stated.

He also addressed reports of police presence, clarifying that he did not call the police, but officers were already present “from the morning to ensure everything was supervised.” He further alleged that his wife’s main demand was that he should help her contest elections, a request he claims is beyond his control.

The ongoing legal and public battle has intensified the call for accountability and justice, ensuring that the saga of the Bhojpuri power couple remains a heated topic online.
