The release of Peddi, starring Ram Charan, is reportedly facing another delay due to pending shoot and post-production work, according to industry reports.

The sports drama, directed by Buchi Babu Sana and also featuring Janhvi Kapoor, Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma, was earlier scheduled for an April 30 release.

Delay Due to Pending Shoot Work

Reports suggest that key portions, including a special song featuring Ram Charan, are still pending. This could push the release further, marking a possible third postponement for the film.

The delay is also said to be linked to Ram Charan’s minor injury during an action sequence, which briefly halted shooting.

New Release Window Being Considered

Industry buzz indicates that the makers are now targeting a late May or June release to avoid box office clashes and ensure a wider theatrical window. However, there has been no official confirmation from the production team yet.

Impact on Competing Release

If the postponement holds, Kara starring Dhanush is expected to get a solo release on April 30, without competition from Peddi.

Big Budget Production

Peddi is being mounted on a massive budget of around ₹300 crore, making it one of the most expensive films in Ram Charan’s career. The music is composed by A. R. Rahman.
